Overview

NEO Collect is a REST API for issuing virtual IBANs, receiving and screening bank transfers, and moving money afterwards. This page explains the core concepts; the quickstart gets you to your first credit in about ten minutes.

Core objects

Collection account	ca_	A virtual IBAN in a holder's name, with rules and labels. Persistent.
Credit	cr_	An inbound transfer, with its Shield decision and settlement state.
Checkout session	cs_	A one-time IBAN tied to an amount and an order, with expiry.
Wallet	wa_	A seller or sub-merchant balance with its own IBAN (Marketplace).
Hold	ho_	Funds reserved on a wallet until released or reversed.
Payout	po_	An outbound transfer to a verified beneficiary.
Sweep / Conversion	sw_ / cv_	Treasury movements between your own accounts or into stablecoins.
Recall	rc_	A case opened when a bank asks for a credit back.
Event	ev_	A webhook delivery describing a state change.

Conventions

Base URLs. Live: https://api.neofin.tech/v1. Sandbox: https://sandbox.api.neofin.tech/v1.
Amounts are integers in minor units with an ISO 4217 currency. 125000 is €1,250.00.
Timestamps are ISO 8601 in UTC.
Pagination uses ?limit=50&starting_after=<id>; list responses are { "data": [...], "has_more": true }.
Idempotency. Send an Idempotency-Key header on every POST. Keys are honoured for 24 hours.
Versioning. Send NEO-Version: 2026-11-01 or rely on the version pinned to your key.

A typical integration

Create a collection account for each verified customer and store the returned IBAN against your customer record.
Show the IBAN wherever that customer pays you.
Handle credit.settled and credit.returned webhooks, verifying the signature on each.
Reconcile daily statements against your own ledger.

The sandbox is a full copy of the live API with test endpoints to simulate credits, returns and recalls. Nothing you do there touches real money.
