Billing questions
In which currency am I billed?
Plans are billed in EUR. GBP billing is available on Scale and Institutional plans on request.
Is there a minimum term?
Launch and Scale are billed monthly with no minimum term. Institutional agreements are typically 12 months.
What counts as an "active" virtual IBAN?
A virtual IBAN that received at least one credit in the billing month. IBANs that sit idle are not counted.
Are returns charged?
Credits that Shield returns to source are not charged as inbound credits. Recall cases that require manual handling are included on every plan.
What about failed payouts?
Payouts rejected by the beneficiary bank are not charged. The per-payout fee applies only to completed payouts.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Sandbox access is free and there is no setup or onboarding fee on any plan.
