For invoicing and ERP

Print a unique IBAN on every customer's invoice.

Each of your users' customers gets one IBAN that never changes. Payments land, match by amount and payer, and the invoice is marked paid without anyone typing a reference.

Available to verified businesses only.

Example flowSample data
  1. One IBAN per customerCreate a collection account for each customer record in your users' ERP.
  2. Invoice printedThe IBAN appears on every invoice and reminder for that customer.
  3. Payment arrivescredit.settled fires with the amount, payer and remittance information.
  4. Invoice closedYour matching logic closes the invoice by amount, or by remittance info where present.
The job to be done

What breaks today

  • Customers pay without references, so invoices stay open and dunning goes out by mistake.
  • Finance teams reconcile bank statements against invoices by hand.
  • A single company bank account cannot tell you which customer paid.
What you get

Built from the products you need.

No references required

The IBAN identifies the customer; the amount identifies the invoice.

Statements per customer

Daily statements per IBAN feed straight into the ledger.

Partial payments handled

Every credit is an event with an amount, so partial settlements are just data.

Works with existing banks

Your users keep their own bank for payables; NEO handles receivables.

Typical integration

From sandbox to live in about four weeks.

Timelines depend on how quickly KYB documents are supplied and on your own build.

Week 1

Sandbox

Sandbox keys are issued on request. Build against the full API with simulated credits, returns and recalls.

Weeks 2–3

KYB and contract

Our compliance team completes KYB on your business while legal finalises the agreement.

Week 4

Go-live

Live keys are issued, your first accounts are created and our team monitors the first credits with you.

FAQ

Common questions

Does every end customer need KYB?

The account holder is your user, who passes KYB. Their customers are payers, not holders, and are name-checked and screened by Shield on every credit.

How do I match a payment to an invoice?

Use the amount and the payer, plus the remittance_info field where the payer included one. Most platforms match on amount within a tolerance.

Can I issue IBANs in bulk?

Yes. The API is idempotent, so you can create accounts for an existing customer base in a single migration run.
